President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Serhiy Boldyr as head of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast. This is stated in presidential decree #629/2019 published on the presidential website.
“To appoint Boldyr Serhiy Volodymyrovych as head of the Main Directorate of the Security Service of Ukraine in Kyiv and Kyiv Oblast,” the document says.
Serhiy Boldyr is a major general, head of the Department of State Secret Protection and Licensing of the Central Administration of the SBU since July 2016.
He was graduated from the National Academy of Security Service of Ukraine. He also worked with temporarily displaced persons from Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts in order to identify separatist-minded citizens among them.
