President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in his video message urged Ukrainians to report on facts of corruption to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine (NABU).
“We will not be able to revive the economy if people will not pay taxes. This applies to everyone – from the oligarch to the taxi driver. We will not be able to overcome corruption if you turn a blind eye to it or become an accomplice in cutting public funds,” the president said.
Zelensky urges Ukrainians to take part in a large-scale flash mob – do not giving bribes, do not cut the budget, to throw garbage to the trash cans and report corruption to NABU.
“If they demand a bribe from you, offer a kickback or any other corruption scheme, do not be silent. It is not necessary to write in social networks “everything is lost, these authorities are the same bad as previous ones, Zelensky put his own people to posts.” No. Here is the NABU hotline – call and inform it.”
The head of state announced the NABU hotline number – 0800503200 – and assured that law enforcement officers will respond to all messages and will punish those responsible in commiting corruption crimes.
As The Journalist reported, Ukrainian Parliament amended law on Supreme Anti-Corruption Court.
