Zelensky honors memory of Ukrainians soldiers killed in Afghanistan

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the eve of the Day of commemoration of participants of war activities on the territories of other countries paid tribute to the Ukrainians who died during the war in Afghanistan.

To President’s Office, the Head of State took part in a memorial ceremony at the Memorial Complex to Ukrainian citizens who died in Afghanistan.

The ceremony also included soldiers of the honor guard.

Zelensky laid flowers at the memorial monument. The ceremony participants honored the fallen citizens of Ukraine with a moment of silence.
