During the press marathon, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky noted he will protect the interests of the state in the matter of appeal to the PrivatBank nationalization case by its former shareholders.
The head of state noted that he has a question for the judges, but not intend to interfere the proceedings directly.
“In the PrivatBank’s case, I will defend our country, the interests of the state of Ukraine. To be honest, I have not ever called any of the judges in my life, not one. I talk to them, but not in the way of a phone conversation, even though I, as a person, have a lot of questions for our court, but I have no right to influence,” Zelensky said.
