President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky retired Army’s General Viktor Muzhenko from military service. The corresponding decree #645/2019 was published on September 2 on the presidential website.
“To release General of Army of Ukraine Muzhenko from the military service to reserve with the right to wear a military uniform,” the decree says.
On May 21, President Volodymyr Zelensky dismissed Viktor Muzhenko from the post of Head of the General Staff – Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and appointed Ruslan Khomchak to this position.
