President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has thanked Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe for the decision to ease visa requirements for Ukrainian citizens. The head of state wrote about this on his Twitter:
“We highly appreciate the decision of Japan to ease visa requirements for citizens of Ukraine from January 1, 2018. We will be grateful for continued consideration of the issue of a visa-free regime for Ukrainians, especially on the eve of the Olympic Games 2020.”
