The winner of the second round of the presidential elections in Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky went to his home town Kryvyi Rih (the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast) on the Victory day over Nazism in World War II, where he visited the grave of his grandfather and called “not to privatize” the victory, 112 Ukraine reports.

Zelensky noted that May 9th today is “our Day of Gratitude”.

“Gratitude for that they left the inhuman Nazi ideology in the past forever. Gratitude to those, who fought against Nazism – and won,” explained Zelensky and recalled that the war affected every Ukrainian family.

“Nobody has the right to privatize this victory and to claim that it could have happened without Ukrainians. Let’s remember those, who perished away. Let’s commemorate those, who are still alive, there are only a few of them left,” stressed Zelensky.

As The Journalist reported, the Russian made a riot at the Kyiv airport.
