Information about the illegal surveillance by NABU employees about the premises of Kyiv synagogue and its believers appeared in the media on October 30, 2018. Then official website of Jewish religious community of Kyiv published a statement that Security Service of society recorded illegal surveillance of people at synagogue building, and when checking premises unauthorized devices for removing information were discovered at prayer house.
In turn, NABU said that they had not committed any illegal investigative actions against Jewish community of Kyiv.
