Yesterday, in the village of Baryshevka, near Kyiv, a couple was detained, transporting animal carcasses in their car. As the zoodefender Svitlana Lavrikova said on her Facebook page, the detained spouses Lobko Vadym and Mayboroda Yana, under the guise of volunteers, collected donations to a shelter in which they tortured and killed animals with particular cruelty.
According to the zoo-activists, Yana Mayboroda carried out fraudulent activities under the guise of Olha Kolesnikova. In addition to the shelter, which turned into a concentration camp for its inhabitants, pseudo-volunteers took pedigree animals for overexposure and stole them for further breeding. Now dozens of deceived owners of animals, victims of scams, are turning to Svitlana Lavrikova. Zoodefenders created a search group of stolen animals.
