In Ukraine, on the night of June 6, 80 settlements in seven regions were de-energized due to bad weather, as it is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
“Due to the complication of weather conditions (squally wind, rain, thunderstorm), 80 settlements in 7 oblasts were de-energized due to the operation of the power lines protection system, namely: Kherson oblast – 18, Cherkasy oblast – 17, Zhytomyr oblast- 14, Kyiv oblast- 12, Khmelnitsky oblast- 9, Kyrovohrad oblast – 6 and Volynska oblast – 4″, noted in the message.
Brigades of oblast energy services are engaged in the restoration of power supply.
Earlier The Journalist reported that more than 40 houses flooded in Kyrovohgrad and Vinnytsia oblasts due to bad weather.
