On April 25, Andrii Litvinenko’s “Askania Reserve” was released.

About this reports Ukrainian State Film Agency.

The plot of the documentary unfolds around four characters with completely different characters, destinies and goals. However, they are united by one thing – the desire to save life among the largest in Ukraine oasis, which is rapidly losing its uniqueness. Director of the reserve Viktor Semenovych communicates with buffaloes, zebras and pelicans, as with people. For the former employee, Mr. Mykola, this place became a haven from the cynical nature of the outside world. The young scientist Pasha considers the birds for days and is friends with local rappers until he faces a difficult life choice. For a whole century, Askania-Nova protects nature from changes caused by man. But will she accept the changes necessary for her own survival?

“Reserve Askania” is published in the year of the centenary of the foundation of the reserve.

By the way, part of the box office will be transferred in support of the reserve and solving its infrastructure problems.

As the Journalist reported an exhibition of Yuriy Vakulenko opened in Kyiv.
