On April 12 in the updated Center for Contemporary Art M17 will open the sculptural project “Reforming Space”. The next day, April 13, a forum will be held dedicated to the problems of interaction between public space and sculpture.
This is the official page of the gallery M17.
The project “Reforming Space” presents works by Ukrainian artists Nazar Bilyk, Olexiy Zolotarev, Serhii Petlyuk and world stars of the sculpture Jaume Plency, whose works are presented all over the world: in the Pompidou Center in Paris, the Tate Gallery in Liverpool, the Museum of Modern Art in New York and others.
“The project “Reforming Space” aims to show how artists see reforms in their surrounding space with the help of modern art of sculpture and installation. It is not only about the territory of the city in which they are located, but also about the space of metaphysical, personal, space between man and nature, man and the Universe. Artists explore how political, geopolitical, cultural, and social changes influence the global dynamics,” says curator Kateryna Rai.
As the Journalist reported an exhibition of Yuriy Vakulenko opened in Kyiv.
