“The level of energy efficiency of public sector institutions, that is, kindergartens and schools, has increased significantly over the past three years. The city and the municipal enterprise “The Group for Implementing an Energy Saving Project in Administrative and Public Buildings in Kiev” managed to attract about 8.5 million euros to energy-efficient activities in the public sector, of which 6.5 million euros are grants or affordable loans from the Northern Ecological Financial Corporation – NEFCO, which finances a wide range of energy efficient projects in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, including Ukraine. We can introduce the latest technologies and equipment, which gives a significant economic and ecological effect, not to mention increasing the comfort in these institutions,” said Petro Panteleev, deputy head of the KSCA during his visit to institution.
In Kyiv, such solar panels are already installed in four kinder gardens, it is planned to install such stations in two more.
