More than UAH 75 million were allocated in 2019 for the construction and restoration of the military camp Dachne-2, the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine reported.
Now work on the construction of the infrastructure facilities in the military town of Dachne-2 is underway, which will be followed by the construction of personnel barracks and the reconstruction of individual buildings for classrooms.
It is also planned to reconstruct the headquarters, ensuring the improvement of the territory and work at other sites.
“Now, one barrack that can host 280 military servicemen, a hostel with 120 beds for officers, a medical center, and a reconstruction of the boiler house with new gas equipment, external engineering networks and repair of an artesian well have been fully prepared in the cantonment,” said the chief Engineer, Colonel Yurii Podgaetsky.
Work continues on the construction of a barracks building, two improved type barracks for contract servicemen and a canteen for 500 people.
The project envisages the construction of open football mini-stadium with artificial turf and lighting system, basketball and volleyball courts and treadmills.
