A new recycling plant will be constructed in the city of Tyachiv (Zakarpattia Oblast), the city website informs.
It is reported that the plant will be built by the Finnish company Ferroplan and its cost estimate is EUR 25 million.
It is noted that in addition to the garbage that will be disposed of from nearby cities, the new plant will also process garbage from Europe. In turn, the remnants that cannot be recycled will be stored in bales and buried in accordance with the Finnish technology.
As soon as the new landfill site will be ready, the old one will be covered with a special film, with the grass planted on its surface; it will be possible to extract biogas from it, which can be used for the needs of the city.
