The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has reported that already 1,001,517 Ukrainians received “Affordable medications” using electronic prescriptions.
The Affordable medications program was most actively used in the Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Lviv, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk oblasts.
The National Health Service of Ukraine analyzed that the program most often used by the citizens aged 65 years. The most active were residents of large cities, urban-type settlements and villages.
Since April, doctors have filled over 4 million prescriptions, almost 80% of them – for medications for cardiovascular diseases, 17% – for Type 2 diabetes, 3% – for bronchial asthma.
