The daughter of the Crimean Tatar activist Eden Bekirov, Eleanora Bekirova, said that her father is experiencing severe back pain and cannot get out of bed. Therefore, his lawyer Oleksiy Ladin was not able to visit him. She wrote about this on her Facebook page.
“Because of a pinched nerve in the spine, he cannot get out of bed. The father has severe back pain,” the daughter said.
Eleanora is sure that her father’s health deterioration happened after he was taken to the Supreme Court of Crimea in a police wagon, where he spent 11 hours under guard without food and water.
She added that her father was urgently provided with painkillers, but this does not helped much.
“… I don’t know whom to ask for help,” the daughter of the Crimean Tatar activist wrote.
Eleanora Bekirova appealed to the Ombudsman Lyudmyla Denisova with a request to use all possible mechanisms to help her father, since he does not receive proper medical care, and every trip in a police wagon is like torture to him.
As The Journalist reported, Human rights activists urge Crimean occupation authorities to send political prisoner Bekirov to hospital.
