CEO of Naftogaz of Ukraine Andriy Kobolyev has stated that the decision of the authorities in the oblasts of Ukraine to start heating season while there is warm weather outside is nothing but banal pull funds out of consumers’ pockets.
“I have read reports on early start of heating seasons in 17 oblasts of Ukraine. And I want to express my opinion on this matter: the people who made this decision – the local authorities, clearly understand what they are doing. The question is how quickly consumers will understand that this ‘banquet’ will be hold at their expense. Each additional day of heating season, when it is + 17° outside, is noting but banal pulling of funds out of consumers’ pockets,” Kobolyev wrote.
As The Journalist reported, Naftogaz needs USD 1 bln loan to prevent collapse of upcoming heating season in Ukraine.
