According to the Center for Public Health, as of October 6, Ukraine reported 4,348 new cases of the coronavirus. The number of active patients is 126,663.
In total, there are 234,584 laboratory confirmed cases of coronavirus in Ukraine, of which 103,401 patients have been recovered, 4,520 have died. At least 2,423,031 PCR tests were performed. Some 2,149 patients were discharged per day.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 6,930 cases in Vinnytsia region; 8,880 in Volyn region; 7,372 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 4,561 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 7,070 in Zhytomyr region; 10,317 in Zakarpattia region; 4,746 in Zaporizhzhia region; 14,451 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 1,194 in Kirovohrad region; 25,091 in the city of Kyiv; 10,099 in Kyiv region; 21,494 in Lviv region; 1,333 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 3,894 in Mykolaiv region; 15,021 in Odesa region; 3,270 in Poltava region; 13,374 in Rivne region; 5,676 in Sumy region; 14,610 in Ternopil region; 21,451 in Kharkiv region; 1,544 in Kherson region; 7,263 in Khmelnytsky region; 15,444 in Chernivtsi region; 4,687 in Cherkasy region; 4,812 in Chernihiv region.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available.
