On the night of June 16-17, deteriorated weather conditions left 107 settlements in three oblasts of Ukraine without electricity, the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reported.
Most of all suffered Lviv Oblast.
“On the night of June 16-17, bad weather conditions (strong winds, rain, and thunderstorm) caused blackouts in 107 settlements in 3 oblasts, in particular: Lviv Oblast – 67 populated areas, Zakarpattia Oblast – 38 and Luhansk Oblast – 2,” the statement says.
Emergency teams of oblast power distribution companies conduct needed repairs to resume electricity supply.
As The Journalist reported, 80 settlements in Ukraine were de-energized due to bad weather.
