The debts of the Odesa TPP and the KP Odesa District Heating companies are threatening the city’s heat supply next autumn and winter, as the press service of Naftogaz reports.
The total debt of Odesa heat producers is UAH 1.7 billion, and in accordance with the agreement, heat producers must pay no less than 90% of their debt in order to receive gas for the heating season.
Thus, the Odesa TPP company must pay no less than UAH 161 million to receive gas for the heating season, and the KP Odesa District Heating company – UAH 222.4 million.
Neftegaz, in turn, calls on the State Property Fund, which manages the Odessa TPP, as well as local authorities to take urgent and effective measures to meet the heat supply enterprises of the city with the requirements of the PSO Regulation and the conditions of the agreements concluded with the company in order to avoid power outages in households.
