Passenger flow of Kyiv metro grows by 100,000 daily

The mayor of Kyiv, Vitalii Klitschko, said that the passengers flow in the metro is growing by 100,000 daily. This was reported by the press service of the Kyiv city state administration.

“Yesterday, May 27, on the third day after the resumption of work the Kyiv metro carried 536,000 passengers. In the first two days this figure totaled 773,000 passengers. That is, the passenger traffic in the subway is growing by an average 100,000 daily,” Klitschko said.

Klitschko also added that the KCSA has fully resumed operation of ground public transport.

At least 345 buses, 326 trolleybuses, 242 trams and more than 80 minibuses of Kyivpastrans KP, as well as private minibuses, are already operating in the city.
