At least 96% of prosecutors intended to pass certification and worked in reformed prosecutorial bodies. This was reported by the Prosecutor General’s press service.

The acceptance of applications for certification ended on October 15.

According to “preliminary estimates”, about 96% of current prosecutors filed the corresponding application; 80% of PGO prosecutors want to work in the newly created Office of the Prosecutor General.

“They will be first who will undergo the certification process and will be tested for knowledge and the ability to apply the law,” the message said.

All prosecutors in the Vynnytsia, Zaporizhzhia and Chernivtsi oblasts expressed their desire to undergo certification.

In total 99% of prosecutors would like to work in the reformed prosecutor’s bodies in Volyn, Zhytomyr, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Lviv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Poltava, Rivne, Sumy and Cherkasy oblasts. This figure exceeds 90% in other areas.
