The other day in capital’s cinema theatre “Zhovten” the premiere show of Ukrainian youth film “Squat32” was held.
It is reported by the Ministry of Culture.
This film is not only the debut of director Sasha Lidagovskiy, but also the social aspect – for the first time a modern Ukrainian film will be able to see people with hearing problems.
“Now in the hall there is an atmosphere of free-spirited people, bright creative youth. Once, when I was still a student, I also spent some time in this get-together, we communicated, conceived bold creative projects and rehearsed in abandoned buildings in Kyiv, it was an amazing time. That is why I am very pleased that this theme of squats is now on movie screens. It is very important that the film “Squat32” was adapted for viewing for people with hearing impairments – this is an important social initiative that creates equal conditions for the availability of art for all. In the same direction, the Ministry of Culture is now actively working on the development of a bill on Ukrainian sign language, I also thank community organizations, in particular “Vidchyi” initiative, which helps spread information about this important topic, ”said Yevhen Nyshchuk, Minister of Culture of Ukraine, at the premiere of the film.
As the Journalist reported an exhibition of Yuriy Vakulenko opened in Kyiv.
