U.S. Senate Committee to hold hearings on Ukraine

Today, June 18, the United States Senate Committee on Foreign Relations will hold hearings on Ukraine’s progress five years after the Revolution of Dignity and Russia’s malicious activity. This was reported on the Senate Committee website.

The US State Department special representative Kurt Volker will attend the meeting of the Senate Committee and begin reporting at 21:30 pm [Kyiv time – ed.].

The former US Ambassador to Ukraine John Herbst, director of the Global Democracy and Emerging Technology Project at the Brookings Institute, Alina Polyakova, and the Heritage Foundation representative, James Carafano, will also address the meeting.

As The Journalist reported, Volker stressed that the United States strongly support Ukraine’s reform path, including fighting corruption.
