This was stated by the U.S. Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker at a meeting with the Kyiv mayor, Vitaliy Klitschko, in Washington, KCSA reported.
“We have discussed the situation in Ukraine after the presidential elections and on the eve of next parliamentary elections, the serious challenges Ukraine is facing with, and our partners’ support for the Euro-Atlantic path of the Ukrainian state,” Klitschko said.
According to Volker, the United States promises to continue her support to Ukraine in the implementation of the necessary reforms, including fight against corruption and realization of Euro-Atlantic aspirations.
“The US is firmly support Ukraine on her democratic reforms path, in reforming state institutions, in economic reforms that will strengthen the country. In particular, in the fight against corruption and Ukraine’s desire to become a full member of the Euro-Atlantic community,” said Volker.
