Ukraine, Poland and the United States at the end of the week plan to sign a memorandum of cooperation in the gas sector, BiznesAlert reported.
The memorandum provides for the development of supplies of American liquefied natural gas to Poland and Ukraine, the use of Ukrainian underground gas storages and the development of gas infrastructure.
On the Ukrainian side, the agreement will be signed by the Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksandr Danyliuk, on the US side – by US Energy Secretary Rick Perry, and on the Polish side by the representative of the Polish Government on Strategic Energy Infrastructure Piotr Naimski.
