The Ukrainian side of the Joint Center for Ceasefire Control and Coordination and Contact Line Stabilization (JCCC) informs of its readiness to dismantle fortifications at the area of disengagement of forces in the area of the village of Stanytsia Luhanska. This is reported by the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on Facebook.
“On July 24, 2019, the Ukrainian side is ready to begin dismantling three fortifications located along the road, between the Stanytsia Luhanska entry-exit checkpoint and the destroyed bridge across the Siversky Donets River. We will notice that the specified works will be carried out within the framework of implementation of the existing arrangements on disengagement of forces in the area of the Stanytsia Luhanska settlement,” the message said.
The JFO noted that fulfillment of the relevant obligations by Ukrainian side is possible only if the Russian-led armed formations will comply with the obligations for the simultaneous dismantling of fortifications in this area.
As The Journalist reported, OSCE cannot verify disengagement of military forces at Stanytsia Luhanska.
