According to the Center for Public Health, as of October 23, Ukraine reported 7,517 new cases of coronavirus. The number of active patients reached 186,654.
In total, there are 330,396 laboratory-confirmed coronavirus cases in Ukraine, of which 137,578 patients have recovered, 6,164 have died. At least 2,950,463 PCR tests were performed.
During the day the situation on the territory of Ukraine is, as follows:
1,032 people were hospitalized, of which 30 are children, 36 health workers;
14 382 people with confirmed coronavirus diagnosis are on inpatient treatment;
500 people connected to lung ventilators;
2,680 people recovered, including 156 children, 202 health workers;
121 deaths were reported.
36,457 PCR tests, 26,674 ELISA tests were carried out.
The overall incidence per region is the following: 8,923 cases in Vinnytsia region; 11,792 in Volyn region; 12,380 in Dnipropetrovsk region; 8,160 in Donetsk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 11,264 in Zhytomyr region; 12,541 in Zakarpattia region; 7,495 in Zaporizhzhia region; 17,705 in Ivano-Frankivsk region; 1,858 in Kirovohrad region; 33,135 in the city of Kyiv; 13,958 in Kyiv region; 26,399 in Lviv region; 2,985 in Luhansk region (Ukrainian-controlled districts); 6,602 in Mykolaiv region; 21,128 in Odesa region; 7,532 in Poltava region; 16,985 in Rivne region; 9,889 in Sumy region; 18,613 in Ternopil region; 31,592 in Kharkiv region; 2,951 in Kherson region; 12,413 in Khmelnytsky region; 18,811 in Chernivtsi region; 7,704 in Cherkasy region; 7,582 in Chernihiv region.
Data from the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk regions and the city of Sevastopol are not available.
