On April 16, for the first time, a large presentation of the creative and production capabilities of the Ukrainian film industry will take place at the Beijing Film Festival’s Beijing Film Market. This should open up new opportunities for cooperation between the two countries.

“We see real prospects for cooperation with Chinese partners. To implement them, we continue to work on promotion of Ukrainian content in the Asian market, as well as working on the signing of an intergovernmental agreement on the joint production of films between Ukraine and China. Beijing Film Festival is organized with the assistance of the PRC Administration on film issues. It is supported and sponsored by the Beijing Municipality Government and the China Media Group. Therefore, to establish and improve relations in the field of filmmaking, participation in such an event is important and even necessary,” the head of Ukrainian State Film Agency noted, Philip Ilyenko.
Ukrainian presentation “Ukraine is Your Destination” will last about two hours. The national stand will work from April 16 to 19 inclusive.
