Ukrainian philanthropists raised UAH 5 million for the treatment of doctors infected with COVID-19. To receive funds for treatment they need to register and confirm their status, as the Ministry of Health reports on Facebook.
Ukrainian businessmen joined the social company #ПідтримуюЛікарів (#SupportDoctors) launched by the Ministry of Health. Patrons launched a platform which allows everyone to assist Ukrainian doctors infected with a coronavirus while performing their duties.
For the first 5 days the project already collects UAH 5 million.
To receive help, doctors need to leave a request on the helpdoctors.com.ua website, confirm the status of the health worker and the diagnosis.
As The Journalist reported, Ukrainian Government plans to pay cash benefits to everyone who forced to take leave at their own expense.
