There is practically no gray zone left at the frontline city of Marjinka. Ukrainian soldiers managed to has shifted toward the village of Trudivske (Donetsk mine). This was reported by the Ukraine TV channel war correspondent Oleksii Kashporovsky on his Facebook page.
The advanced units of the 24th separate mechanized brigade of the Ukrainian Armed Forces named after King Daniel have entrenched in new positions in the city of Marjinka, practically in the vicinity of the Trudivske residential area, in the western district of Petrovske in Donetsk. The gray zone is now 100-250 m.
“A little more than a month ago, the brigade’s intelligence agents occupied the gray zone in the direction of Donetsk and the village of Trudivske. And now Marjinka is under almost total control of the Ukrainian army. Thanks to the infantry advancement the residents of Marjinka will be less shelled,” the Return Alive volunteer group noted.
