Ukraine will receive a USD 200 million loan provided by the World Bank for a project on Accelerating Private Investment in Agriculture. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Finance of Ukraine.
The relevant agreement was signed on August 27 by Ukrainian Finance Minister Oksana Markarova and World Bank Country Director for Belarus, Moldova and Ukraine Satu Kahkonen. The money will be allocated by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, which is part of the WB group.
The loan is intended for the creation and commissioning of the State Agrarian Register and an inventory of state property lands, their inclusion in the State Land Cadaster.
These funds also intended for a methodology for the development of community land use plans and satellite mapping of Ukraine.
The project will be implemented until 2023.
