Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said that 2019 will be the year of Ukrainian culture in Austria. The head of Ukrainian state said this on the results of negotiations with the Chancellor of the country Sebastian Kurz, reports 112 Ukraine.
«We agreed that we will declare the year 2019 the year of Ukrainian culture in Austria. And cultural diplomacy is a very reliable and effective tool for developing relations between our peoples and countries. Culture is the key to the hearts of both Ukraine and Austria. This will make our nations much closer», report said.
At the same time, it is noted that Poroshenko hopes that Ukraine and Austria will continue cooperation at all levels, so he invited the Austrian president to visit the Ukrainian state.
In addition, the President sent proposals on the possible patronage of Austria over one of the settlements.
