Kyiv to allocate UAH 300 mln for upgrading urban lighting

The First Deputy Director of the Transport Infrastructure Department of the Kyiv City State Administration, Ivan Shpilevoi, said on the air of the TRK Kyiv channel that there will be almost 12,500 modern LED lamps in the Ukrainian capital by the end of 2018. This is reported by the press center of the KCSA.

In 2018, UAH 304 million was allocated from the city budget to replace lighting networks. A plan and appropriate funding is being formed at the moment to upgrade lighting at other facilities next year.

«Our goal is to replace all the lamps in the capital with modern LED lighting in nearest 5-6 years,» Shpilevoi said.
