On Thursday, June 25, the fourth meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Hungarian Commission on Economic Cooperation, co-chaired by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba and the Minister of Foreign Economy and Foreign Affairs of Hungary Péter Szijjártó, will be held in Kyiv. This was reported by the press center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Dmytro Kuleba and Péter Szijjártó agreed to resume the work of the commission after seven-year break, at the beginning of the year. The meeting was scheduled for March, but was delayed due to the coronavirus crisis. In early June, the ministers set a new date for the meeting.
The parties will discuss the development of trade and investment between Ukraine and Hungary, consider a number of joint economic and transport projects, improve border and cross border infrastructure, revitalize cooperation in the agricultural sector, as well as in the field of energy and environmental protection.
Following the meeting, a joint briefing of Dmytro Kuleba and Péter Szijjártó is planned to be hold at the press center of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
