Tremors with a 5.2 magnitude were recorded in the northern part of Japan.

A powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 hit the north of Japan. Tremors were recorded at 5:06A 31 km from the city of Chitose. It is reported by the US Geological Survey.

The epicentr of the earthquake was at a depth of over 123 km. At the same time, no data on casualties or destruction were reported. No tsunami threat was announced.
