In Ukraine, on January 6-9 and January 12-14, a significant decrease in temperature is expected – from 10 ° to 20 ° of frost.

This was announced by the director of Ukrgidrometsentr Mykola Kulbida.

“Starting from January 6, during January 6-9, most areas, especially the northern, central and eastern regions of Ukraine, decrease the air temperature first to 10 ° -15 ° C, and from January 8-9 to 15 ° – 20 ° – it will be mainly the north-east of Ukraine,” said Kulbida.
However, the decrease in temperature will be short-lived.
“Already from the 10th, the temperature will rise sharply,” the director of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center said.

According to Kulbida, significant precipitation is not expected in Kyiv.
“The temperature regime will gradually decrease, and from the 6th to the 9th (January) it will be quite cold nights and even days in Kyiv,” he said.

“We expect the next wave of cold from January 12 to January 14. By its strength or intensity, it will be approximately the same, January 8-9, that is, a decrease in temperature at night to 15 ° -20 ° C, and possibly even in northeastern Ukraine and below 20 ° C,” said Kulbida.
