The Kyiv city council allocated an additional UAH 50.986 million to pay compensation to the families of deceased ATO participants, who did not receive land plots.
Some 65 out of 78 deputies of the City Council backed the relevant decision on amending the financing of the city target program “Care. Towards the people of Kyiv" for 2019-2021.
Also, due to the redistribution of the program’s funds, provided for the provision of partial reimbursement of expenses to certain categories of Kyiv residents for purchasing essential goods, the Kyiv City Council additionally allocated:
UAH 47.6 million to ensure the provision of one-time targeted assistance to low-income segments of the population of the capital, who find themselves in difficult life circumstances;
UAH 35 million to provide retirees and persons with disabilities with mobile emergency alert systems, with technical support;
UAH 5 million for the provision of food and grocery sets for low-income single citizens and other segments of the city’s population.
