Tokyo 2020 announce smoking will be banned at all venues

In 2018, Japan banned smoking in public places at the legislative level. The organizers of the Olympic Games 2020 in Tokyo will ban smoking and vaping at all Olympic venues. Inside the Games reports.
This decision was made in order to protect the health and safety of athletes, spectators and officials. Smoking will be prohibited in the premises, in the open air and in the protected perimeters of the Games facilities.
Recall that Japan legally banned smoking in public places last year, but this measure excludes about half of all bars and restaurants. Advertising on tobacco is allowed in the country, cigarette packs do not contain graphic warnings about health hazards, and tobacco is cheap compared to other major cities.
