Ukraine’s Fiscal Service: Smuggled Russian spare parts worth UAH 22 mln were supplied to UkrOboronProm’s plants

The State Fiscal Service has established that UAH 22 million in state budget revenue was lost as a result of corruption during supply of smuggled Russian spare parts to the UkrOboronProm state defense concern’s plants by the Optimumspetsdetal company (Kyiv). This was told by the Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko.

“After all inspections, we confirmed that these were exactly the products: the iron was supplied to the defense complex enterprise. Moreover, by counter checks, we found out that this iron was successfully used during the repair of military equipment and successfully located in the area of military operations during the Ukrainian-Russian war. In particular, this is about 115 armored personnel carriers, which were sent by the Kharkiv Armored Plant last year,” said the Prosecutor General.

“It was established that UAH 22 million in state budget revenue was lost due to non-payment of taxes,” the head of the Prosecutor’s Office of Ukraine stressed.
