After conducting a search and rescue group of tourists near Mount Pip Ivan, three rescuers went to the hospital with frostbite of the upper extremities and the face, according to State Emergency Service of UkraineSSES.

“On February 24, at 14:50, State Emergencies Service received information that after conducting search and rescue activities of a group of tourists near the Pip Ivan Mountain of Verkhovinskiy District, three rescuers went to the hospital with a preliminary diagnosis of frostbite of the upper extremities and the face,” the message says.
Note that in the highlands cloudy weather persists, visibility is good, the wind is 10 m / s, the air temperature is -16 degrees.
According to the State Emergencies Service, during the ascent, two tourists were killed, two more were frostbite and were taken to the regional hospital.
