President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko will speak at the General Assembly of the United Nations meeting in New York.
The head of state said this during his visit to Kharkiv.
"In less than a week, I will visit New York and, from the rostrum of the United Nations General Assembly, will report on the situation in the occupied territories, demanding the protection of the sovereignty, territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine," Poroshenko said.
The President added that Russian occupation has "not only brought innumerable sufferings forcing Ukraine to pay the highest price with the lives of her heroes, but also dealt a heavy damage to the Ukrainian industry."
“The systematic and purposeful ousting of Ukrainian enterprises from the Russian market start not in 2014, but in early 2000s,” said the head of state.
As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko said Ukraine rejected over 50,000 Russian goods over past two years.
