Ukraine is expected to increase prices for cereals, in particular, the cost of buckwheat, semolina, corn and barley will increase to 15%.
"Buckwheat will likely be more expensive because its price is still small and this will affect the fact that it will be sown less and besides inflation. We will see that the buckwheat, which was cheaper throughout 2018, will add in price in 2019. Also, cheaper cereals will grow: corn, barley, semoline. As demand for them is high – prices can grow up to 15%," said the director of the Ukrainian Association of Suppliers of Trading Networks Oleksei Doroshenko in a commentary to the journalist [UNN](https://www.unn.com.ua/en/exclusive/1777982- v-ukrayini-podorozhchaye-grechka-expert).
