Hamburg Airport went on strike: labor unions demand higher wages

Today, February 4, German labor unions have announced a 24-hour warning strike of ground transportation staff at the Hamburg airport.

Information on possible flights delays and/or cancellations were reported on the airport’s website.

In addition, the airport shuttle does not work. Passengers are urged to arrive at the airport with a reserve of time and travel having only hand luggage with them.

It is known that the strike began at 3:00 a.m. Trade unions demanding EUR 275 per month salary increase for nearly a thousand airport ground staff.
