The number of confirmed deaths from last Friday’s collapse of a dam at an iron ore mine in Brazil has risen to 110, Reuters reported.
At the same time, 238 people are still listed as missing. Brazilian rescuers were able to identify 71 killed. The victims include people living in the area, and employees of a mining company. As a result of the dam collapse, vegetation and rivers also suffered.
The search for victims has been going on for almost a week.
