Poroshenko approved status of General Staff of Armed Forces of Ukraine

President Petro Poroshenko approved the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine status.
The corresponding decree No.23/2019 is published on the website of the head of state.

“To approve the provision on the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the document says.

Thus, the president amended the decree of April 6, 2011. According to the approved provision, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine is the main military body for planning state defense, the administration of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and certain forces and assets of other components of the defense forces.

As The Journalist reported, Poroshenko will again run for presidency .
