U.S. delegation will not go to the World Economic Forum in Davos due to shutdown

The White House Press Secretary, Sarah Sanders, stated that US President Donald Trump had decided to cancel the trip of the American delegation to the World Economic Forum in Davos because of the shutdown continuing in the country. This was informed by CNBC.

“Out of consideration for the 800,000 great American workers not receiving pay and to ensure his team can assist as needed, President Trump has canceled his Delegation’s trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland,” said Sanders.

Recall that the forum in Davos will be held on Jan 22-25.
