Lawyer Mykola Polozov has said that the lawyers of Ukrainian sailors’ prisoners of war would appeal the Russian Court’s decision to extend their arrest. This was reported by Hromadske.
“Filing appeals is the necessary procedure required for further submitting of individual complaints regarding each seaman to the European Court of Human Rights,” said Polozov.
According to the lawyer, there are three days to appeal the court decision: complaints will be not accepted after this term.
Polozov suggested that the consideration of appeals is likely to take place in February.
As The Journalist reported, eight Ukrainian sailors to stay in Russian custody till April 24.
