The American company Volta will put on the market a bowl equipped with artificial intelligence that will control the nutrition of pets so that they do not overeat.

According to the portal Hightech, a vessel with a built-in fisheye lens, a motion sensor and a system for identifying pets will recognize the animal’s face and open the feed compartment stern.
The system connects to the Internet via Wi-Fi and communicates with a smartphone application to send a notification to the owner that the pet has approached the feeder. Depending on the settings, the notification can be delivered via SMS, voice prompt or short video.
It is noted that the bowl for animals will go on sale by the end of 2019. Its cost will be about $ 190.
